Sean Casey Director of Instruction scasey@clublink.ca Sean is the Director of Instruction at Glen Abbey and is also Head Coach for the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) National Teams. In 2011, Golf Digest named Sean as one of the top four prominent teachers in Canada. In 2009 he was honored as the 'Teacher of the Year' by both the PGA of Ontario and Canada and in 2016 Sean was named 'Junior Leader of the Year' by the PGA of Ontario. |
Dan Read Teaching Professional dread@clublink.ca Dan joined the Glen Abbey Golf Academy and began his apprenticeship with the PGA of Canada in 2001. A graduate of McMaster University, Dan has business experience that lends itself well to the corporate golf world. In addition to clinics and group lessons, Dan conducts individual and small-group instruction. His relaxed approach helps students to enjoy golf while learning valuable skills. Dan utilizes TrackMan with his students, the worlds most accurate ball flight and swing analysis tool. |
Brad Kinvig Teaching Professional bkinvig@clublink.ca Brad oversees all of the coaching programs for kids aged 4-13 and is the Head Coach of our New Competitor Program for kids aged 10-14. He is responsible for growing the U13 Competitive Program to where stands today. As our representative for the Golf in Schools Program, he visits schools in the Oakville area to introduce golf to kids. During the summer months, Brad helps prepare some of the top ranked juniors in Canada for international competition as coach for the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) National Teams. |
Michael Crane Teaching Professional mcrane@clublink.ca Michael brings 22 years of teaching experience to the Glen Abbey Golf Academy and has been a Class ‘A’ Member of the Canadian PGA for over 17 years. His career highlights include being selected as a Top 50 Golf Instructor in Canada (National Post 2006), PGA of Ontario 'Teacher of the Year' (2000) and Toronto Region 'Teacher of the Year' (1997). Michael spent nine years as Executive Director of Instruction at Golf Town (1999-2007) and joins us after spending five years at Lionhead Golf & Country Club. |
Ben Ferguson Teaching Professional bferguson@clublink.ca A former PGA Tour player originally from Australia but now a Canadian citizen, Ben has been playing Professional Tour Golf for the past 17 years. Ben reached the pinnacle of golf in 2001 playing on the PGA Tour. He has also played other world class tours including Web.com in 1999 and 2002, the Australasian tour in 1998 and is a long-time member of the PGA Tour of Canada. There is much to learn from Ben’s wealth of knowledge and experience. Ben advocates solid fundamentals in the swing to all his students because that sets up the framework for a swing that is powerful and efficient. |
Mark Brennan Teaching Professional mbrennan@clublink.ca Mark joined the ClubLink Academy at Glen Abbey in 2015. He brings with him a love for teaching and a determination to make a difference in his students' game. As an accomplished junior golfer and swimmer, Mark fell in love with the game at Stratford Country Club. In 2012, Mark made the successful transition from swimming instructor to PGA of Canada Teaching Professional and soon became a highly sought after coach and Junior Leader at The Academy at BraeBen. Mark enjoys helping players of all ages discover their own natural abilities, allowing them to tap into their true potential and most importantly, have fun. |
Tommy Falletta Teaching Professional tfalletta@clublink.ca Tommy started teaching at Glen Abbey in 1993 and is one of the original instructors at the ClubLink Academy at Glen Abbey. He has a long list of students ranging from the beginner to the accomplished player. His passion to help others and friendly personality makes him a popular instructor with all age groups. |
Mandeo Pathania Teaching Professional mandeogolf@gmail.com A regular on pro golf tours since 2005, Mandeo holds two course records of 61 and 63 on the Professional Tour of India. He has been playing events on the Asian Tour since 2006 and won his first event on the domestic tour in 2010 in Mumbai. Since moving to Toronto in 2015 Mandeo has also won on the PGA of Ontario while continuing to coach the community. With a teaching experience of 10 years at Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in India, Mandeo has also trained under former world number one Bob Toski and Jim McLean. Being a fitness addict and with all the experience of various golf tours, Mandeo's style of teaching presents a well-rounded approach that consists of natural technique, golf fitness and positivity. |
Marshall Pemberton Teaching Professional gaacademy@clublink.ca Marshall Pemberton has been apart of the Glen Abbey team since 2017 while he was attending Niagara College for Professional Golf Management. Marshall played for the school golf team which captured Gold in the OCAA’s in 2018. In 2019 he finished 6th in Ontario as an individual and was honoured as the team Most Valuable Player. Since leaving college and joining the Glen Abbey academy as a full time coach, Marshall has become the Head Coach for the New Competitor Girls Program and primarily focuses on junior golfers. Marshall has a strong passion for playing and teaching the game, and believes that golf can teach you skills that benefit you on and off the course. Bringing fun and passion into the learning process for juniors has really helped Marshall grow the game! Come for a lesson and see how fun golf can be for you too! |
